Kai is an extraordinary beyblader and captain of the Bladebreakers. I think he's the strongest blader in Beyblade cause he's my favorite character. But despite this he is caught up by his own feelings and locks himself out from the others, his personality resembles that of Vegeta of Dragon ball Z, stubborn and unwilling to accept defeat. Kai was the former Undisputed Beyblading Champion of the World until Takao came along for the first time and beat Kai with his Dragoon bit beast, well I think that it was luck that Takao beat Kai. Before this happened Kai said he was not doing this for his grandfather meaning he was to like Takao trying to keep a family pride. Kai’s bit beast is Dranzer the "Flaming Phoenix". It has the ability to release a burst of burning flame with it's out of its beyblade. Kai is full of himself and believes he can't be beaten by anyone and believes he doesn’t have any weaknesses. The physical appearance of Kai is he has medium length spiky blue and grey hair, black eyes and four triangular blue paint symbols on his face. He wears a black vest with red cut off and long blue combat pants with a black belt. his gloves tie onto just below his elbow and seem to be made out of metal blades at the elbow changing to red covering his forearm to his knuckles.

Takao is the main character in the anime Beyblade. He is a very bright and happy boy. At first Takao is a regular beyblader but he wants to be the best, and when he gets his Dragoon bit beast he has a good chance of becoming it. Takao is the stubborn type he will never back down from a challenge. His whole life turns around when he meet Professor because Professor is a very clever boy who can perform loads of modifications to a person’s Beyblade, An ideal friend. Takao strives to be an even better BeyBlader when Kai destroys his Beyblade in battle. After he gets Dragoon and rebuilds his Beyblade with Professor he draws with Kai in a battle to save Professor. Takao then finds out about the tournament, which Kai is the reigning champion. He enters and beats Kai in the final. This is when Mr. Dickinson declares the new team the Bladebreakers with him, Max, Rei and Kai as team leader. During his time with the Bladebreakers Takao becames a really-really good beyblader. Takao controls the bit beast Dragoon and his beyblade Phantom Dragoon(known as Dragoon Fighter) is unbeatable when combining it with Dragoon special the Phantom Hurricane.

Rei has a big storyline in the show because when he was young he used to be in a team called the White Tigers and was their leader and inherited the White Tiger bit beast called Driger. After Rei got this he left town forever and this made the rest of the White Tiger team really angry especially Lee. The rest of the White Tiger team thought Rei just left because he was a coward, traitor and was afraid of the challenge. But later on Rei lets us know that he left because he wanted to learn more about Beyblade and become a better blader. The reason Lee hates him so much is that Lee should have been the one to inherit the White Tiger bit beast because it was his grandfather. When Rei left Lee got really angry and trained like mad to perfect the Tiger Claw attack. Rei never steps down to a battle and has great power in his bit beast Driger. There is one point in the show where he loses his bit beast Driger because he fought half-heartedly (fought without wanting to win and not trying his best). His Driger just picked up and left. But in the tournament his Driger comes back when Rei fights to his potential and goes all out. Rei is a talented fighter who wins almost all his battles. He is also a player because even though he left Mariah she still love him.

Max is the master of defense with his bit beast Draciel. Max meets Professor and Takao when he moves into town with his dad. His dad owns a hobby shop where he can buy most things. The way he meet Professor and Takao was when a little puppy is in danger and is about to fall down a waterfall. Takao compiles a great idea and fires his Beyblade to hit a log, which would stop the puppy from falling down. But Takao misses but then Max comes out from somewhere and fires his Beyblade with precision and saves the puppy. Him and Takao then become really good friends and they go back to Max’s hobby shop and they find out Max has his own Beyblade Dish they are amazed and then Takao battle Max but was defeated by Max.. Max then begins to train Takao even though Professor was meant to be so he gets a bit jealous. Max comes about 4th in the tournament and gets picked to be in the Bladebreakers with his friend Takao. Max is extremely happy. Max is a really good beyblader whos always has strategies and is always willing to help people in need. His mother works for a beyblade science company and is head Director so is very distant from him but still loves him and is proud when she sees him win in the tournament. Max and his Draciel make a good team for attacking, strategy, defending and winning.
